Why this role?

Lam is looking for an achievement oriented person for a hybrid role within our Talent Acquisition organization.  This is a temporary contract position for up to 12 months.  You will partner with 8 Recruiters and support their hiring efforts.  The Recruiters support a variety of business functions:  Products/Engineering, Global Operations and Corporate Business Functions.  We welcome you to come join our world class organization!


The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct in-depth phone screens with potential candidates 
  • Act as an enthusiastic employment brand ambassador, selling Lam Research as a great place to work.  Must enjoy talking to people!
  • Applicant management including sourcing warm leads in our database and marketing those candidates to internal Recruiters
  • Manage Employee Referrals including screening and consistent follow-up
  • Act as back-up to the Staffing Coordinators as needed, which include offer letter generation and onboarding
  • Act as back-up to Recruiters for processing standard offers
  • Ad hoc requests



  • 2+ years of support experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Phone Screening Candidates and sell them on why Lam is a great place to work.
  • Strong system skills a must including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking systems is a plus (i.e. SuccessFactors, Taleo etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources preferred but not required
  • Flexibility and openness to take on new tasks
  • Willing to consider recent college graduates who are driven, positive and articulate
