Job Responsibilities

As a leader in Lam’s Global Supplier Management organization, this critical position requires a passionate, driven leader who will architect and deliver strategic directions in managing the Machining commodities within Lam’s supply chain.   As a leader within Supply Chain Operations, this executive will play a crucial role in the success of Lam. 


This executive position resides within the Global Operations Supply Chain organization and reports to the head of Supply Chain Operations. This person will collaborate with the Executive management team, Supply Chain Executives, and Product Group Executives.   Location of the position is in Tualatin, OR and will include worldwide travel.

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the commodity operational performance for RF Power Products to enable all Lam’s factory outputs
  • Establish effective means to govern/monitor suppliers’ performance and hold supply chain counterparts accountable
  • Develop, implement and execute inventory strategies to support product lead times and operational flexibility
  • Develop, train and mentor a large team of supply chain professionals across a global footprint,
  • Execute the global geo Vision, and support transition activities
  • Engage and collaborate with customers and suppliers to manage the relationship on product issue identification, problem resolution and total experience.
  • Identify and anticipate problems and risks within the supply chain in advance and address those issues in advance of and to avoid a critical situation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Operations or Engineering Equivalent; MBA or post graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of supply chain or business operations experience
  • Experience in executive leadership role within a global matrix managed multi-site company with manufacturing and supplier operations spread over multiple continents with at least $1 billion in revenue.
  • Demonstrated success at using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
  • Proven record of leading and developing a high performing team.  Demonstrated ability to maintain and engage staff.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills across multiple cultures in North America, Europe and Asia
  • Be able to lead and influence technically strong employees and stakeholders.
  • Executive presentation skills for internal and external executive presentations
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma Master blackbelt preferred
  • Experience in Semiconductor or High-Tech industry preferred.
  • Experience in Commodity Management, familiarity with RF Power products a plus
