Drafter/Designer 3

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining Lam’s site plans and building drawings, including electrical, mechanical, piping (plumbing, process, etc) and evacuation maps
• Maintains a centralized document management system, including electronic document repositories and physical filing systems, to organize and store documents securely
• Updating and adding new CAD drawings provided by the Construction or Engineering teams
• Creating and modifying detailed drawings using CAD from sketches, layouts or notes

• Checking for correctness and conformance to standards

• Assisting in future CAD integration with Tririga Facilities Integrated Workplace Management System;  Developing and implementing document control processes and procedures to ensure the accurate creation, revision, approval, and distribution of all documents

Other Job Responsibilities

• May work with system management including file maintenance, backup and storage
• Calculating dimensions, weight limitations, and measurements for designs
• Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs
• Ensuring designs comply with company regulations and quality standards

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, design, or a similar field
• Minimum 2-4 year's experience as a design drafter/document control specialist
• Working knowledge of CAD software, drawing programs, and 3D modeling tools
• Excellent knowledge of architectural and engineering design principles
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, implement solutions, and drive process improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Tririga Integrated Workplace Management System experience
