Job Responsibilities

Maintain, issue, and receive facilities kits to provide immediate support for the Manufacturing Floor. These activities are to be carried about by Dry Facilities Teams for Dry respectively.

  • Provide support to production floor related to testing equipment and tool configuration facility’s needs;
  • Inspect Dry Facilities Kits during creation, and check them before returning to the floor;
  • Build kits within 24 to 48 hours of launch of the system in manufacturing;
  • Each kit should be built according to product type and required specifications based on tool type configuration;
  • Ability to build kits, inspect and verify kit contents;
  • Make sure every kit receives an inventory check sheet;
  • Inspect kits returned to the facilities kit team, verify all material issued has been returned, return any components are returned to tool before shipping;
  • Responsible for making all facility kit components: power cables, water lines, jumpers, gas lines, etc.;
  • The team is responsible for all maintenance and upkeep of components within the facilities kits;
  • Building and developing kits from Pilot;
  • Raw materials for building kits are maintained by Dry Operations Support Team;
  • Write and update process, procedures, and documentation;
  • Consistently exhibits behaviors that aligns with Lam’s core values;

Other Job Responsibilities

Safety Protocols:

  • Complete all required safety training;
  • Follow safe work practices by lifting no more than 35 pounds, using ergonomic pads, stretching when needed;
  • Adhere to personal and product safety guidelines by:
    • utilizing appropriate PPE following clean room procedures;
    • utilizing appropriate PPE when building or working with material or equipment.
  • Perform Risk Management By Walking Around (RMBWA) inspections and document;
  • Correct and/or escalate safety issues/hazards to appropriate individuals/departments;
  • Supports safe work environment by responding directly and quickly to unsafe practices; escalates to next level manager (safety representative, lead, supervisor, manager); and escalates any unresolved issues (incorrect use of hoist, poor placement of tools/cords/ladders, etc., not using cones or barriers, PPE misuse).

 

Communication:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English with the teams this position supports;
  • Provide information and respond in a timely manner to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, written form, e-mails, or in person;
  • Actively participates in meetings and trainings;
  • Identify and communicate issues both verbally and in writing;
  • Suggest continuous improvements by communicating verbally and in writing to appropriate groups and departments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience with power cables, water lines, jumpers, gas lines, etc.;
  • Experience in the electric and basic cable field;
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings;
  • Positive attitude with willingness to learn;
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic and constantly changing environment;
  • Fundamental understanding of the overall procedures conducted within Dry Operations;
  • Basic understanding of tool handling;
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills.
     
  • Work a 12-hours shift;
  • Ability to walk around the facilities regularly throughout the day;
  • Lift up to 35 pounds manually;
  • Use manual tools (box wrench, cable tie cutters, etc.);
  • Scale 10 step ladder comfortably.
  • Management may, at its discretion, assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
