The Sr. Financial Analyst supports the Deposition division and Business Finance in running the business.  The Sr. Financial Analyst will conduct analysis that aids in the decision-making process and improvement of the profitability of the Deposition division.

 

This role requires a strong Sr. Financial Analyst who can manage, provide insightful analysis, and report on various types of data, ensure there are controls in place to protect the company, drive programs to continuously improve results, support multiple business partners, and ensure the division’s goals are met for the company.  The person must be able to multitask in a complex and demanding environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Primarily responsibilities will be to track and monitor inventory, evaluation systems, capital spending, and compliance related tasks for the division.
  • Assist in quarter-end work related to the division.
  • Research financial anomalies and drive to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Prepare insightful financial analysis of pertinent information to help determine progress against forecast and plan.
  • Review trends/issues and opportunities with Finance Management to drive appropriate actions.
  • Prepare Finance reports and presentations for business partners.
  • Provide solid financial modeling and support ad hoc requests from business partners.
  • Leverage their strong understanding of systems and continually seek ways to improve the financial processes.
  • Develop relevant management reporting and analytical tools.
  • Support monitoring and driving progress to reach targets/goals to support the division and company objectives.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Experienced analyst with expertise in operational Finance.
  • Must be analytical, detailed, accurate, dedicated, results-oriented, and highly ethical.
  • Must have the ability to organize, handle, and monitor a wide variety of tasks simultaneously. 
  • Must be proactive and have solid business judgment.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Should enjoy working with people.  Will interact on a daily basis with various levels of personnel and management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting required.  MBA helpful.  Minimum 5-7 years of experience.  Strong SAP experience required.  Very strong Excel modeling skills required.
