Job Responsibilities

As a Global Quality Program Manager at Lam, you’re not just overseeing projects – you’re contributing to Lam’s Digital Transformation journey. Your role is vital in the successful integration between our new Quality Management System platform and our legacy platforms.

 

In this role, you will be a key contributor to Lam’s Digital Transformation journey and Global Quality initiatives. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support Digital Transformation workstream leads and QMS Product Manager in the integration of Quality deliverables in the DT Program

  • Drive requirements to reduce disparate systems via integration to new QMS platform

  • Partner with adjacent system stakeholders to understand business process changes and establish system requirements

  • Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insights within Quality workstream

  • Contribute to master data strategy between QMS and other systems (Critical Data elements, MECE, etc.)

  • Optimize process design, deployment, execution, and measurement of Lam’s Quality improvement and problem-solving processes

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Support Quality System enhancement based on new technology needs identified by value stream and process mapping

  • Deliver change management for program areas that is sustainable for long-term success

  • Be an Agent of Change for the organization and a Champion for Lam’s Quality culture

  • 50% travel for the first 6 months to Fremont, CA and minimal travel thereafter

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Substantial project management or program management experience with increasing responsibilities.
  • Functional domain knowledge, such as 8D/Quality systems/nonconformance management as examples
  • 5+ years of experience in data management including policy / standards definition, metadata management, data quality management
  • Ability to guide the analysis and discussion of Master Data as its used in key processes.
  • Excellent understanding of business objectives of data domains.
  • Change agent; effective communicator.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant project management certification is preferred (PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum Master).
  • Experience with Toyota Production System (TPS) is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in making and using process mapping to identify waste and improvement opportunities.
