Lam Research is seeking highly enthusiastic and motivated individual with good infrastructure skills to enhance our dashboarding and reporting of infrastructure using big data tools. We are searching for applicants who are able, willing and excited to learn all about IT infrastructure and data center operations. Reporting to a senior systems engineer, this internship candidate will work on reporting tools for the data center. The successful candidate will;

  • Work with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Extract data from multiple sources and build dashboards using LogStash & Kitana
  • Migrate existing dashboards
  • Evaluate Power BI as an SCCM dashboarding tool


The list of technologies and skills are;

  • Some experience with Microsoft SCCM
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of data centers
  • Basic understanding of Javascript, Python, or other scripting languages a plus
  • Ability to work with others
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to energize a team
  • Detail oriented
  • Soft skills in professional communications - both verbal and written


Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of Project and Program Management skills and Project Management tools are a plus
  • Organizational skills with multitasking capabilities to get tasks done in a fast-paced environment
  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team
  • Good communication skills
