The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

As part of Lam's Industrial Engineering group in Tualatin, you'll drive change by empowering your customers to achieve business results through data-based decision making. You will be empowered to ask "What if?" and then supported while you "Run the Experiment."

The Impact You’ll Make

You'll enable local manufacturing teams to interpret labor and cycle time data that forms the foundation of IE reporting. You will enable them to confidently understand their teams' performance. You will deliver to global teams accurate and actionable data that aligns with global reporting standards, some of which you'll design.

What You’ll Do

  • Design new manufacturing support systems, or improve existing
  • Analyze and recommend efficiency and productivity improvements
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams
  • Support and lead data aggregation, cleansing, analysis, and visualization efforts
  • Lead KPI reporting projects
  • Determine factory capacity constraints and inform stakeholders of optimization activities to reduce productivity bottlenecks
  • Support tool transition efforts through the production development maturation timeline
  • Encourage teamwork through open communication and collaborative problem-solving
  • Participate in team meetings, facilitate project status updates
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for material flow, people flow, and factory layout optimization

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Five+ years’ manufacturing environment experience: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and/or Logistics
  • Advanced statistical knowledge
  • Excellent programming/coding skills: Python and SQL 
  • Experience building and maintaining PowerBI dashboards
  • Excellent communication skills - building consensus on projects, instructing the interpretation of analytical results, working with other IE SMEs
  • Project management skills
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge, Black Belt preferred
  • Proficiency with the use of computer software and database applications
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak)

 

Physical requirements include the ability to squat, kneel, walk, climb, stand, and reach outside neutral for less than 50% of the time; ability to lift 35 pounds; able to distinguish colors.
