Job Responsibilities

The Legal Administrator supports Lam’s Legal Department personnel, including VPs, attorneys, and other professionals.  This includes but is not limited to performing administrative and clerical duties, such as developing and maintaining filing systems and preparing reports and other materials, as well as coordinating special projects and department activities, and may also include screening calls and taking messages.  Work is of a critical or confidential nature and requires broad working knowledge of department and company practices and policies

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Executive calendar management to include noting and resolving conflicts and ensuring adequate time between meetings
  • Group meeting minutes and action item tracking
  • Coordinating Legal training sessions within US and across Regions
  • Travel arrangements and coordination across regions, including assistance with visa applications
  • Executive expense report preparation and submittal
  • Visitor sign in/greeting
  • On-site assistance as needed when someone from another office comes to visit, itinerary coordination for traveling executives, and site-specific assistance for people located at that site but not on their primary support list
  • Itinerary coordination with other sites as needed for traveling team members
  • New personnel onboarding including arrangement of telecom, network, and facility setups (US only)
  • Department mailbox management in coordination with other legal department offices’ admins
  • Management of small package shipments from and to home office site (i.e. documents)
  • Document and report copying, scanning, filing and uploading to SharePoint
  • SharePoint site management and/or support in managing SharePoint folders (e.g. delegations)
  • Editing, formatting, proofreading and distributing and posting documents and other communications

Minimum Qualifications

Key skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Knowledge of ERP system, with preference for SAP
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Other Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor to interact with all levels within the organization and with external providers, customers, or government officials
  • Able to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks from multiple supported individuals within tight deadlines
  • Strong team player with “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects and exercise initiative – ask appropriate questions, understand the purpose, manage timelines, alert management to problems, make recommendations

Education and Experience

  • AA/AS in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 5 years applicable experience, preferably in a legal environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Notary public or willingness to obtain commission certificate
  • Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, or German language skills a plus
