Job Responsibilities

 

As a Legal Intern, you will have the chance to:

  • Participate in Legal Forums, led by senior legal leadership
  • Deliver an end of summer presentation to senior members of the Global Legal Services team
  • Attend fun social events with fellow interns

Essential Functions:

  • Shadow members of the Global Legal Services team
  • Build reports to inform executive decision making from Lam’s contract management system and data analytics
  • Create engaging PPT legal training for business clients
  • Complete projects in a variety of practice areas under supervision of Global Legal Service attorneys
  • Systems thinking to streamline and document contract processes
  • Review and edit Lam templates, create playbooks
Minimum Qualification

 

  • Good standing as a first-year law student at an ABA accredited law school.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong drafting skills
Preferred Qualification

 

  • An interest in the in-house legal environment
  • Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership ability, personal and professional accomplishments, commitment to community service or meaningful contribution to the diversity of the legal community
  • Excellent written and oral communication and legal research skills
  • Strategic thinking and thought leadership
  • Proven ability to translate ideas into action
  • Teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills
  • Attention to detail
