The Impact You’ll Make

As a leader in the Global Operations Supply Operations Team, you are responsible for influencing supply chain operations and planning with the goal of improving Lam’s responsiveness to customer demands.  You will lead critical, high visibility teams that drive Lam's alignment between the product groups, suppliers, and global operations using infrastructure tools to support long term planning, processes, and service level agreements.

 

This role reports to the Director of Supply Chain, and works cross functionally with teams in Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Manufacturing and Order Fulfilment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage a team that are responsible for reporting of global availability and supply/demand risk.
  • Presenting a plan of record for the support of long term forecast of global product output across Lam’s global factories.
  • Develops and aligns service levels by supply commodity (output magnitude and flexibility up/down) to ensure constraints and growth objectives are identified and executed. 
  • Works with cross functional partners (Supply Chain Network Planners), Manufacturing (factory capacity), Global operations Strategic planning and Supply Chain (critical commodity capacity).

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's. degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Ten (10) years’ experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Order Fulfillment or similar role.
  • Strong executive messaging and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross functionally and drive decision making in a matrixed environment.
  • Drives structured data analysis and problem solving to complex cross functional problems.
  • Strong program management skills and ability to drive open actions to closure.
  • Semiconductor equipment knowledge and continuous learning to effectively consider how technical roadmaps of the business units (product lifecycle) and economic trends can affect our supply/demand streams
  • Experience with Supply Chain procurement and capacity assessment processes – a thorough understanding of medium and long term planning, assessment and methodology is critical.
  • Six Sigma Certification
