The Impact You’ll Make
This Contracts and Compliance Manager role is part of the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) Business Operations team and will be responsible for maintaining, creating, and improving programs related to contracts, contract negotiations and supplier compliance as well as other operations duties as outlined.
What You’ll Do
- Contracts program management: You will be responsible for owning the programs related to Lam’s supply chain. This entails working with supply chain personnel to ensure proper contractual coverage, creating efficiencies in the process, and supporting supply chain personnel in using the contract lifecycle software.
- Legal Department Liaison: This position is not in the legal department but acts as the primary liaison with contracts attorneys. You will represent supply chain’s interests in cross-functional teams with the legal department. You will also bring legal’s program goals to the supply chain leadership and promote collaboration between the two groups.
- Training: You will be responsible for training supply chain personnel in using the contracts lifecycle management tool, developing web-based training materials, and hosting live training sessions to explain updates or changes to the contracts programs.
- Compliance program management: You will be responsible for overseeing the supplier onboarding compliance programs. You will work directly with Lam’s legal team to define the compliance requirements and plan for the execution of those requirements with other Lam working groups.
- This role will function as the primary point of contact for GSCM, GOPs and Lam Corporate stakeholders for the GSCM contracts and compliance programs. This role will also assume short-term finite operational projects as required.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
- Twelve (12)) years experience of leadership and program or project management experience.
- Three (3) years of experience in supply chain management and/or contract management.
- Experience driving cross-functional teams as a program manager.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must effectively convey messages to diverse audiences with limited or expert knowledge in legal principles.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI and/or contract lifecycles management software or related software products.
- Experience using database management concepts.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
