Seeking an experienced, highly-motivated, and accomplished engineer to design critical mechanical systems for advanced semiconductor processing equipment.  Candidate will join a respected engineering organization focusing on PECVD module design and be part of a team that designs next generation tools. Candidate will have responsibility for designing major assemblies including chambers and reactor components. The ability to act as a mentor in their area of expertise and peer to a well-qualified team is highly desired. This includes actively participate in design reviews, reviewing and providing feedback on others work including presentations, drawings and models, and communicate ideas and results to other engineers and management.   Preference will be given to candidates with technical expertise in the area of process chamber design.

The ideal candidate is expected to be knowledgeable in:  Plasma based processing reactor design, Low to medium vacuum system design practice including seal design and materials compatibility; Materials selection including experience with the many grades/specifications of metals and advanced engineering ceramics; Volume manufacturing-worthy fabrication techniques. Additionally, candidate should have:  Significant experience resolving hardware problems; Basic understanding of semiconductor wafer processing; Ability to work with suppliers to implement designs in a timely and cost-effective fashion.
