Job Responsibilities

  • 80% development, 20% product and project management
  • Firmware development for wafer handling robots and mechanisms
  • Define functional specifications and requirements for projects involving wafer handling mechanisms
  • Develop firmware for wafer handling robots and mechanisms
  • Perform lab test to characterize performance of robots and mechanisms
  • Create test specifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Mechatronics curriculum / courses
  • Excellent oral and written communication

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience in Semiconductor industry
  • CAD (NX and Inventor)
  • Skills in MATLAB and Simulink
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Hands-on experience with mechanisms or simple robotics and actuators through course projects
  • Strong embedded programming background with microcontroller or FPGA, familiarity with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
