Job Responsibilities

• Manages a team delivering the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
• Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs.
• Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department.
• Oversees the coordination of new building technical support space allocation and layout, communication services, electrical infrastructure, fire & life safety systems, instrumentation & controls, gas and chemical systems design, construction & operations, HVAC systems, wastewater treatment systems, ultra-pure water systems, and facilities expansion.
• May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation of facility support systems.
• Manages hiring roadmap and is responsible for anticipating future staffing requirements and designing the organization’s structure to support it.  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, mechatronics engineering or equivalent degree with 5-10 years industry experience and 3 years of supervisory experience.
