The Impact You’ll Make

As part of the Global Finance team and the enterprise-wide Digital Transformation program at Lam, the Mgr. Finance Systems and Digital Transformation focuses on Financial Processes and Systems to create transformative capabilities for Business Finance. Lam is investing considerably in our future to ensure our continued success and support our future growth as the semiconductor industry continues to grow and approaches $1T. As the Finance Manager in this role, you will make a direct impact on Lam's success by enabling efficiency and effectiveness with simplicity and creating scalable and flexible solutions for Business Finance, Global Finance, and Lam at large.

What You’ll Do

• Partners with Business Finance to gather requirements, test, and implement integrated extended planning and management analytics (xP&A) solutions. 
• Ensures core finance and controlling configuration in new S/4HANA implementation meets variance analytics and reporting requirements while also ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and SOX controls. 
• Partners with Finance teams to gather requirements and develop functional design documents. 
• Partners with Global Information Systems to ensure technical delivery of functionality through all phases of DT including Design, Build, Testing and Validation, Implementation, and Sustainment. 
• Manages testing plans and execution to ensure quality of solutions. 
• Partners with the DT Change Management team to prepare and deliver training content to the Global Finance organization. 
• Partners with other organizations at Lam to build integrated planning and analytics solutions, for example Global Products, Global Customer Operations, the Customer Support Business Group, Global Operations, and Global Field Operations.

• Experience working on large collaborative programs.
• Solid skill set in designing and implementing solutions.
• Strong teamwork, partnership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to execute on vision and see solutions through to realization.
• Experience testing and rolling out training for new solutions.
• Experience with financial planning solutions.
• Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA core configuration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.  MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Proficiency in financial planning software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry or a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Project management experience.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
