Job Responsibilities

Be a part of the exciting Sabre 3D process and technology team. Our mission is to advance and innovate WFE (wafer fab equipment) electrodeposition process and technology in the field of advanced wafer level packaging. This process engineer position entails working in the areas of process, equipment systems and technology. Duties include:

  • Performing professional process engineering research, development, and evaluation in support of the Sabre 3D and related systems. Involvement may begin at any step from conception phase to supporting and making improvements of released processes and products.
  • Conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts and approaches in the development of new or modified processes, reactor design and system functionalities. Engages with the engineering and technical staff community.
  • Designs and executes experiments and tests. Compiles and evaluates data to develop working models and specifications. Formulate, optimize and determine appropriate variables, targets and limits of process and equipment specifications.
  • Supports process and product performance demonstration activities such as in the planning, development, data collection, analysis, and technical reports.

  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science; or
  • M.S with 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands on experience working with wet chemistry
  • Skilled in electrochemistry
  • Knowledgeable in areas of fluid mechanics, transport, and surface science, analytical techniques.
  • Interest in advanced technology and an on-going desire to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners.
  • Collaboration/ Matrix environment mindset.
  • Experienced working on processing or SEMI equipments
