Performs Program/Project Management/ Cross functional Team alignment functions for key initiatives supporting the TU MFG group. SMT is a global organization that innovates in manufacturing technology, materials technology, and supply chain design by developing suppliers to meet Lam’s quality, delivery, and total cost requirements for next generation semiconductor process equipment. 



  • Key point of contact for TU MFG organization to interface critical needs with SMT global suppliers.
  • Experience in MFG environment trouble shooting/identifying mechanical and electrical issues both supplier and design related
  • Ability to lead and drive cross-functional projects and teams
  • Interfacing with key teams and individuals within Lam to align key programs as a representative of SMT
  • Influencing decisions and company driven objectives within internal and external groups to achieve company goals.
  • Provide seamless interface with MFG partners.
  • Provide onsite presence to help align cross functional activities within MFG as a cross functional team leader
  • Ability to work non-standard work hours such as night shift & weekends
  • Organizing and owning internal and external Review Meetings
  • Engages MFG to resolve issues where supplier engagement is required
  • Manages escalations in product quality or yield, own and drive to conclusion
  • Monitor RCCAs and direct cross functional team members to resolution
  • Communication to SR. level executives



This the candidate will interface and manage projects that span multiple global teams within the SMT/MFG organization



  • Education: BS Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Engineering/ Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 5+ years Proven track record of managing and resolving technical issues/ projects to completion while accomplishing goals
  • Experience in program management, preferably in the Semiconductor Industry.
  • Expert at systemic problem solving such as 8D/others
  • Knowledge of SPC/ Six Sigma a plus
  • Energetic and goal-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to align cross-functional teams across multiple departments to achieve goals.
  • Ability to track and organize multiple concurrent activities.  Must be able to perform successfully under minimum supervision.
  • Experience in supplier management and execution is a plus
  • Field service experience is a plus
