Master Scheduler Program Manager (MSPM) is responsible to ensure delivery of orders per Customer expectations acting as the primary point of contact between Global Operations (GOps) and Sales Operations (SOps.) Working with the management team, the position contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. This position interacts with the Sales Operations, Manufacturing, Product Group, Finance, Inventory, and Supply Chain functions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop a working knowledge of the Company’s products and processes to ensure optimal schedule stability, order creation, rescheduling, load-leveling, etc.
  • Oversee commitment for delivery of Customer orders per agreed upon technical specifications and to meet Customer delivery request.
  • Manage portfolio of regionally assigned Customer orders, including Systems and Upgrades, to meet Customer delivery commitment.
  • Communicate with SOps regarding status of progress toward Customer delivery commitment.
  • Identify, mitigate, and communicate risks to SOps regarding Customer delivery commitment.
  • Manage Internal/External Customer change requests.
  • Interface with manufacturing and supply chain to expedite shipments to meet Customer expectations.
  • Ensure timely response to issues encountered in manufacturing, or delays in supplier delivery of critical materials.
  • Coordinate cross-functional working groups to resolve problems, such as material shortages and design changes, as they arise to minimize impact to the production schedule and Customer delivery commitment.
  • Work within policy guidelines pertaining to MSPM.  Observe and follow all stated MSPM procedures.
  • Identify, negotiate, and resolve conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order promising integrity.
  • Inform management when demand cannot be met, and recommend alternatives on how the requested demand could be satisfied.

  • Increase the accuracy and efficiency of master production schedule through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between functions.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years and a Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
