Job Responsibilities

As a Global Quality Program Manager at Lam, you’re not just overseeing projects – you’re contributing to Lam’s Digital Transformation journey. Your role is vital in the successful integration between our new Quality Management System platform and our legacy platforms.

 In this role, you will be a key contributor to Lam’s Digital Transformation journey and Global Quality initiatives. We are seeking a diligent and experienced Data individual for Quality Management Systems (QMS) and related systems to oversee and develop the framework and governance for data management. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data within the organization’s quality management systems, driving consistency and compliance.

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support Digital Transformation workstream leads and QMS Product Manager in the integration of Quality deliverables in the DT Program focused on the data & analytics workstream
  • Develop and work with DT teams to manage a comprehensive data management framework for Quality Management Systems.
  • Establish policies, procedures, and standards for data governance and stewardship.
  • Assist in defining data quality metrics and ensure regular assessment and reporting.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure data requirements are met.
  • Work closely with Lam IT teams to help with identifying critical data elements and partners with teams to support data migration activities

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Support Quality System enhancement based on new technology needs identified by value stream and process mapping

  • Deliver change management for program areas that is sustainable for long-term success

  • Be an Agent of Change for the organization and a Champion for Lam’s Quality culture

  • 50% travel for the first 6 months to Fremont, CA and minimal travel thereafter

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Substantial project management or program management experience with increasing responsibilities.
  • Functional domain knowledge, such as 8D/Quality systems/nonconformance management as examples
  • 5+ years of experience in data management including policy / standards definition, metadata management, data quality management
  • Ability to guide the analysis and discussion of Master Data as its used in key processes.
  • Excellent understanding of business objectives of data domains.
  • Change agent; effective communicator.
  • Identify opportunities for improving data management processes and systems.
  • Monitor and manage data quality across Quality Management Systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insights within Quality workstream
  • Contribute to master data strategy between QMS and other systems (Critical Data elements, MECE, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant project management certification is preferred (PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum Master).
  • Experience with Toyota Production System (TPS) is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in making and using process mapping to identify waste and improvement opportunities.
