Program/Project Manager
Lam’s Program/Project Managers are self-motivated individual contributors, who excel in teamwork and team building. This critical position requires someone who enjoys taking on broad and challenging responsibilities.
Lam frequently has Program/Project Manager opportunities in Pilot/New Product Introduction, Supply Chain, and Order Fulfillment.
General Job Duties:
- Lead cross functional teams using program phase gates to deliver New Product Introduction
- Manage complex problems that require elegant and flexible customer-oriented solutions
- Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with the ability to bring assignments to a successful completion
- Manage/lead cross-functional teams
- Provide mentoring, coaching and training
- Start new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization and engage in Continuous Improvement processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field
- Experience working in Product Design or Manufacturing Engineering, Project and Program Management, and/or Operations
- Multi-dimensional skill sets in operations, sales, product management and/or engineering
- Proven stakeholder management skills in a matrixed environment
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Success in this role will also require having strong engineering and manufacturing operations knowledge; excellent communications and influencing skills; understanding of customer’s quality and on-time delivery expectations; expertise in problem solving and root cause/corrective action processes; and a strong track record of success in delivery improvements.
