The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.

 

What You’ll Do

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for influencing supply chain operations and planning with the goal of improving Lam’s responsiveness to customer demands by:

 

  • Working with our Order Fulfillment & Demand Planning Organizations to understand where our demand for our product portfolio is planned to be for the next 12 – 36 months
  • Collaborate with our Supply Chain Organization to understand what is the state of our supply base, and work with them to assess readiness for ramp to meet Lam’s needs
    • Understanding suppliers’ capacity for a given Commodity Group
    • Identifying those key elements that drive suppliers’ ability to ramp to meet Lam’s needs by going deep into the analytics of those parts being assessed
  • Collaborate within our own group to translate the details behind the analysis into a high level view of the risks and outline mitigation strategies
  • Provide feedback to Supply Chain and Order Fulfillment on risk mitigation strategies

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
  • Eight (8) years of related experience in project management or program management
  • Experience with Supply Chain procurement and capacity assessment processes
  • Ability to identify risk and create strategies for contingency plans and mitigation across supply chain and global operations on constraints to execute our build plan
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and tactical execution
  • Experience coordinating cross functional teams and influencing stakeholders
  • Proficient in Kinaxis, Power BI and SAP is a plus

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
