The Impact You’ll Make

We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient individual to join our team as a WETs GPS Quality Manager.  This role is crucial in ensuring seamless deployment of systems, minimizing installation and warranty costs (I&W), and maximizing tool availability performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical support, project management, data analysis.

What You’ll Do

  • We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient individual to join our team as a SABRE GPS Project Manager.  This role is crucial in ensuring seamless deployment of systems, minimizing installation and warranty costs (I&W), and maximizing tool availability performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical support, project management, and training.

 

System Installation Support:
•    Provide hands-on technical support during the installation of systems, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
•    Troubleshoot installation issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges promptly.
 Planning and Coordination:
•    Develop comprehensive installation plans and schedules in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
•    Coordinate logistics, including resource allocation, materials procurement, and scheduling of technicians and other onsite resources.
Resource Management:
•    Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
•    Manage and ensure availability of necessary equipment and materials for installation projects.

Training and Development:
•    Conduct training sessions for technicians and customers on procedures, safety protocols, and system functionality.
•    Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure teams are equipped to perform installations and support activities effectively.

Cost Management:
•    Implement strategies to minimize Installation and Warranty (I&W) costs without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
•    Analyze cost data and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
Quality Assurance:
•    Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure installations meet company standards and customer expectations.
•    Develop and implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Technical background on Semiconductor Equipment SABRE and 3D equipment preferred but not required.
  • Fundamental understanding and experience in quality management systems (QMS)
  • Experience in quality methods like 8D
  • Project management capabilities, leadership skills
  • Data analysis capabilities - from data mining to data analysis and conclusions
  • Quality certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
