What You’ll Do

  • The Management Systems Assessment Senior Program Manager, ISO Assessor is responsible for providing expertise and knowledge in ISO management systems activities for the company and delivering to objectives supporting ISO certification.  This is a position where the candidate must be able to work independently in a team environment. 

  • Develop and implement processes and workflows for global compliance as it pertains to Lam
  • Support all business groups in order to realize Lam’s goals and objectives for ISO certifications.
  • Provide management systems training on quality, environmental, and health & safety compliance and basic quality / environmental / health & safety fundamentals, as required.
  • Work with Quality/EHS and technical teams to implement ISO compliant management systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to document processes/ flows and to correct discrepant business processes critical to ISO certification.
  • Write and maintain SOPs, audit reports, and other documentation as required.
  • Develop systems to ensure quality performance and continuous improvement of the established and reconciled processes.
  • Lead and participate in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, & 45001 conformance internal & external audits
    • Ensure audit results are formally recorded and reported and corrective and preventive actions are documented.
    • Follow up and collaborate with team members on corrective actions resulting from internal/external audits.
    • Evaluate applicable corrective and preventive action responses to the audit findings for adequacy and timeliness. Elevate issues to management as appropriate.
  • Assist in the establishment of management systems’ metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement of the integrated Quality, EH&S, and Information Security Management Systems

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field with 20+ years of experience; or master’s degree with 15+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Requires 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
  • 12+ years of related experience in project management or program management
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated expertise in promoting and enforcing environmental compliance and other quality conformance.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills; disciplined & detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum guidance.
  • Constructive advocacy, influence & negotiation skills, at all levels as well as across cultures.
  • Professional certifications ISO Lead Auditor 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master's degree Engineering or a related technical field of study.
  • Twenty (20) to 25+ years of experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in implementing Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems expertise is a must.
  • Proven experience and strong capability in problem solving such as 6 sigma, 8-Discipline, 5-Why root cause analysis, etc.
  • Expert in industry quality, environmental, and EHS standards
  • Expert in general quality processes.
  • Semiconductor industry experience is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.

This includes delivering on commitments and maintaining confidential information, as well as being approachable, showing interest in the other person, and relating well to people regardless of personality or background.

Communication: The ability to convey information clearly and accurately, as well as choosing the most effective method of delivery (e.g., email, phone, face-to-face). This includes using a technically sound communication style both verbally and in writing.

Decision Making: The ability to make quick, accurate decisions. This includes the ability to weigh alternatives and take into account the impact of the decisions on people, equipment or other resources.
