Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this leadership position will oversee key functions of the Information Security Program including the overall goals of product security and security engineering. Additionally, this leader will be tasked with major security program oversight.
- Develop and lead a team of experts who understand the complexities of controls and can provide direction with security capabilities in a diverse, global and cloud enabled environment. This will be done through understanding policy and strategy and providing requirements to such
- Develop and lead a team of internal consultants who partner daily with the IT organization to support and provide requirements for ongoing programs and projects to ensure security is built-in and aligned to the strategy
- Manage our program to test and measure our software and systems for defect as well as detection and response capabilities
- As a leader in the Office of the CISO, support a diverse set of ongoing needs to represent the program and participate in security awareness initiatives and other programs as required
- Lam Research develops industry leading software to support our customers. In this role, mature our program to define, support and measure our SDLC and DevSecOps efforts to meet the high security standards we deliver to customers
Other Job Responsibilities
- 10+ years of broad information security technical program leadership building and leading engineering and architectural functions
- Enterprise scale experience and have operated in a global organization with different technical requirements in diverse regions
- Ability to lead large organizational programs that drive forward the security strategy, such as DLP and DRM initiatives
- Experience leading or building software testing teams and aligning security into a SDLC or DevSecOps structure
- Enterprise Risk management experience a plus
- Semiconductor manufacturing or other relevant high-tech or industrial experience preferred
- Exceptional communication ability. Must be able to communicate effectively and comfortably at all levels and across the organization. Must be able to run executive steering committee meetings
- Ability to manage team and project budgets effectively with normally expected corporate governance
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent) required, MBA a plus
- CISSP or other relevant security related certification required
