Global Logistics Overview
The Business Operations team within Global Logistics is accountable for implementing our long-term Global Logistics ESG roadmap in support of Lam’s ambitious 2050 Zero emissions goal, as well as assessing the ongoing risk of our global network of logistics vendors to ensure responsible and sustainable sourcing.
The Sr. Manager, Logistics Sustainability role will be the main point of contact and advocate for driving sustainability in the Global Logistics organization. This role will have the opportunity to grow the ESG department by aligning with corporate and setting strategy, bringing transparency to emissions accounting for large-scale projects, and monitoring and tracking sustainability related metrics.
Note: The work schedule is onsite flex.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Global Logistics ESG strategy (categories include (but not limited to) greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and water use.)
- Create and roll out multi-year roadmap to reach net zero by 2050
- Serve as the POC for sustainability in logistics, monitoring emerging trends, programs, new regulations, and communicating and educating others on sustainability topics through internal communication channels.
- Support warehouse expansion and new operations to ensure the infrastructure, as well as processes align with our 100% renewable energy and net zero goals by design
- Collaborate with ESG leaders across Lam’s internal business functions to identify and share best known methods, leverage resources, and execute a coordinated sustainability plan.
- Report monthly on region-based Logistics ESG progress to Lam leadership and/or external entities.
- Partner directly with suppliers to benchmark and identify key opportunities to improve ESG performance, set goals, and deliver results
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Environment, Engineering, Sustainability or related scientific/technical field from an accredited college or university; advanced degree preferred
- 6+ years of leadership and sustainability experience for a warehouse/logistics organization
- Experience leading sustainability projects and facilitating global execution
- Demonstrated experience in greenhouse gas emissions reporting and tracking, carbon accounting, and human rights issues
- Ability to negotiate and influence to get desired outcome
- Strong program management and organizational skills and ability to managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders and prioritize workload to meet multiple deadlines
- 10% travel will be required as this is a global role
