Job Responsibilities

As a leader in Global Operations Supply Chain Planning Team, this person will be responsible for creating and managing the supply planning with the goal of improving Lam’s responsiveness to customer demands via a joint business planning process.  You will manage a team that drives business infrastructure tools (example ‘SAP IBP’), short and long term planning processes (example - ICP/Build Plan) and service level agreements between Manufacturing, Sales Operations, Supply Chain & Order Fulfillment as our business becomes more complex.

 

This position reports to the Director of Factory Support while supporting stakeholders from cross functional teams in Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Manufacturing and Order Fulfilment. 

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Executive reporting of global availability and supply/demand risk while presenting a plan of record for the support of global product output across six global factories
  • Develops and aligns service levels by supply commodity (output magnitude and flexibility up/down) to ensure constraints and growth objectives are identified and executed.  Does this by working with direct reports (Supply Chain Network Planners) and cross functional partners in Manufacturing (factory capacity), Global operations Strategic planning and Supply Chain (critical commodity capacity).
  • Manages supply / demand plan by identifying forecast opportunities, gaps, or risks then seeking approval to mitigate by either driving increases to supply or increasing the demand signal.  (e.g. load demand signals via floats, System Pull ins, and independent demand.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Sales Operations, Supply Chain or other Operations; MS/MBA preferred.
  • Ten years of experience supporting Manufacturing, Sales Operations, Supply Chain or other Operations 
  • Executive messaging and ability to work cross functionally and drive decision making in a matrixed environment
  • Semiconductor equipment knowledge and continuous learning to effectively consider how technical roadmaps of the business units (product lifecycle) and economic trends can affect our supply/demand streams
  • Experience with Supply Chain procurement and capacity assessment processes – a thorough understanding of medium and long term planning, assessment and methodology is critical.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lam Order Fulfilment processes- a thorough understanding of current S&OP methods is critical.
