This position is in the Dielectric Films Business Unit (DFBU) of the Deposition Product Group (DPG).

The Impact You’ll Make

  • We are looking for a driven, dynamic individual to join our Technical Program Management team.
  • In this position, you will manage a small team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and have program management responsibilities for your own programs.
  • As a manager, you will be responsible for guiding the TPMs reporting to you, in terms of both program execution and career development.
  • As a TPM, you will lead a product development program, from C&F through product release, to help execute our product roadmap. It is highly cross-functional, so you will lead matrixed teams of engineering, marketing, software, platform, services, supply chain, manufacturing, and field support resources to achieve program objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • You will need to forge a close relationship with the Product Manager to understand their product roadmap, and how the vision for your program will deliver the success criteria for that roadmap.
  • You will be responsible for taking the ideas from C&F to deliver a tool that can be reliably sourced, manufactured and supported, and deliver consistently high-quality results at the customer site.
  • You will need to drive allocated resources from across the organization to achieve program objectives on time and within budget, to meet the vision success criteria through our Alpha, Beta and Gamma phases.
  • A key part of this role is to identify potential program risks and ensure all mitigations are appropriately executed by the cross-functional team.
  • You will also be expected to provide leadership on continuous process improvement, including developing new Best Known Methods (BKMs) to improve the efficiency and output of our team, and our product development methodology.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or minimum of 5 years with a Master’s degree.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 4 direct reports.
  • Knowledge of product development processes and procedures
  • Multi-site coordination experience
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, presentation and communication skills
  • Effectively engage and influence customers and internal BU decision makers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of semi-conductor industry, or similar high tech manufacturing industry
  • Experience in problem solving techniques and tools
  • Exposure to complete project development life cycle
  • Technical leadership experience
