Job Responsibilities

This position is part of the Supplier Quality Assessment and Development (SQAD) organization.  SQAD is an organization that is innovative in manufacturing technology, materials and supply chain design.  In this position, you, as a product engineer play a vital role with the remote factory suppliers.  You will have the opportunity to work across organization functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges, as well as opportunity to develop excellence in product design and manufacturing at Remote Factory supply chain.

 

Candidate should be a result-driven, self-starter possessing strong interpersonal skills with a strong focus on supporting customers.  This individual should also posses the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, to adapt to changing priorities and to work independently in a close-knit team setting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of Supplier Quality related experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry
  • Working knowledge of Statistics Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause-Corrective Action (RCCA), 8D & 5-Whys Problem solving
  • Prior experience with MS office tools (ppt, excel, project), statistical tools (JMP, Minitab etc.)
  • Previous experience in cross-functional project management
  • Demonstrated verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential for success in this role
  • Previous experience leading technical projects
  • Strong project management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skill
  • Domestic and international travel is required
