Job Responsibilities
  • Manages a cross functional environment dealing with direct suppliers daily
  • Manages delivery execution to support Global Factory and Customers to minimize disruption or impact
  • Negotiates and manages the maintenance of RPM agreements with suppliers
  • Manages and fosters relationships with Lam Research’s' supply base and drives resolution to conflicts
  • Drives resolution to systemic supply chain issues affecting delivery, quality, or cost
  • Evaluation and monitor supplier RPM performance metrics
  • Validate supplier RPM process maps and verify adherence periodically
  • Establish measurement & review methods for suppliers to self-monitor performance to RPM objectives
  • Identify risks associated within the selected RPM supplier base
  • Create and update RPM commodity requirements to meet current and future needs
  • Ensure RPM needs are understood and supported in Supply Chain Commodity strategies
  • Ensure RPM commodity strategy and execution plans are implemented across purchasing and SCM key stakeholders
  • Document and share best known methods
  • Assess available and needed RPM capacity for commodity
  • Work on escalations and delivery improvements
  • Ensure internal/external customer needs are met
  • Work with engineering and the supplier to resolve complex problems to ensure on time delivery of critical material
  • Develop SME knowledge within commodity to influence internal stakeholder alignment on strategic objectives
Minimum Qualification
  • BA,BS/BSE level degree in business, supply chain, engineering, materials science, logistics or related technical discipline
  • Solid analytical and written/oral communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization, including Executives
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Understanding of operational processes
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Business suite.
  • Project/program management skills and abilities
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies and manufacturing processes (aptitude/proficiency)
  • Ability to build and lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong matrix management abilities
  • Relationship building abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, strong negotiation skills, strong mentoring, influencing and/or supervisory skills (ability to manage individual contributors).

Preferred Qualification
  • Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Engineering Advanced degree
  • Previous work experience in commodity management, procurement, contracting, materials management, operations management
  • Project Management / Team Lead experience
  • Lean six sigma experience
