Job Responsibilities

Works closely with engineers to resolve issues related to new product introduction such as manufacturability and form, fit, and function for future builds.
Controls the Manufacturing operation by assessing readiness to start, material readiness assessment, track progress milestones, and ensure we are meeting our commitments to our customers on time, with the quality expected by our customers and keeping the manufacturing team safe at all times
Manage alpha and beta projects that require our ability to keep within the time, budget and resource allocation planned
• Enforces safety policies and training requirements for entire team
• Develops tactical level planning and objectives for the Pilot Manufacturing line
• Provides leadership and guidance to meet the organizations objectives
• Provides resources and ensures the execution of CIP projects, also provides direction to management team to execute on constant improvement
• Provides feedback to develop or improve existing processes and operational policies
• Second level problem solving and escalation responsibilities
• People management: two to four Supervisors and a team of up to 40 people
• Accountable for people’s safety at all levels in the factory
• Responsible for ensuring employees are up to date and that all training has been provide to complete work safely
Functional responsibilities:
• Responsible for meeting all requirements and milestones to transition products to HVM (project manage control builds)
• Provides training, fixtures, hand tools and any other resources to the manufacturing team in order to accomplish operational objectives
• Assists Supervisors in ensuring all material is available to meet milestones
• Cost control management (Labor Hours)
• Owns Org file/tracking and Headcount compliance
Operational Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing tactical plan to execute to a pre-set strategy
• Owns the manufacturing schedule for all production orders assigned to them by Sr. Manager
• Ensures plan is executable, and remains so for duration of each project
• Risk management
• Accountable for system quality
• Accountable for delivering the product on time to all milestones and to our customers

• Leading cross functional teams while advising teams and individuals
• Providing coaching and training as needed
• Show a strong track record of success in delivering improvement
• Excel in team development

Minimum Qualification

• 4-year bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience:  8+ years in a semiconductor operation, technical or military leadership role of which 4+ years in a people management role
• Demonstrated leadership skills, e.g. leading projects and teams

Preferred Qualification

• Semiconductor Fabrication and Semiconductor Equipment operations


• 6-10 years of direct leadership and management experience at an operational level

• Analytical techniques and fact-based problem solving


Individuals in this job will work on:

• Leading Pilot’s Manufacturing Team, which develops, and implements cost-effective methods/systems of assembly and test of alpha and beta products

• Complex problems that require fast and flexible customer-oriented solutions

• Managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines with the ability to bring assignments to a successful completion
