Technical Program Manager in Supplier Material and Technology Organization

Essential Functions and Duties

This position is part of the Supplier Materials & Technology (SMT) organization.  SMT is an organization that is innovative in manufacturing technology, materials and supply chain design. As Technical Program Manager, you will play a vital role with strategic and tactical program execution.  You will have the opportunity to manage cross functional teams internally within Supply Chain to execute medium to high complexity programs.

Candidate should be a result-driven, self-starter possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills.  This individual should also posses the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, to adapt to changing priorities and to work independently in a close-knit team setting.


Job Details:

Lead and manage 3-4 complex technical supply chain programs through from discovery to implementation.  Program may include process improvements, training programs for internal team and suppliers, and sustaining programs within SMT. Define and actively manage scope, schedule, and budget for programs. Lead re-occurring team meetings and quarterly program reviews to executive team. Communications both to stakeholders and cross-functional team on frequent intervals.  Perform on-going risk management and escalation when required.  Forecast and manage program expenses.  Managing resources requirements for program success with functional managers.  Monitor metrics and drive corrective actions when required.


Must have

  • 5+ years managing complex technical programs in high technology industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results within matrixed organization
  • Creative thinking and strong problem solving
  • Strong risk management background
  • Understanding of quality management systems
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly with minimal guidance
  • Data analysis skillset
  • 0-10% Domestic Travel


  • Supply Chain or Manufacturing experience
  • Semiconductor Equipment experience
  • Solid understanding of various problem solving methodologies to include 8-D/5 why
  • Experience working with Offshore resources
  • Sharepoint experience
  • Process Improvement

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business from accredited University
  • P.M.P. Certification Preferred
