Tualatin EHS Support/Coordinator (Back End Nights)

Job Responsibilities

Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Coordinator, Back End Night (BEN) shift: Implements and supports environmental, health and safety management systems and programs. This role starts on back-end night shift working Wed-Fri and every other Sat. Routine activities include:

  • Implementing new environmental or safety controls for changing spaces, processes, and activities
  • Validating implementation of EHS controls as scheduled
  • Scheduling and delivering EHS training content
  • Acting as a primary point of contact and shift specialist for safety related questions
  • Performing inspections of lab, manufacturing, and logistics operations
  • Updating EHS content on websites, training modules, and guidance documents
  • Coordinating EHS activities with departments, vendors, and contractors
  • Prepare and deliver reports from various data sources
  • Serve as a lead during emergency response events

Other Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint)
  • Ability to communicate to and influence in individual and large group settings
  • Strong self-driven personality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed or willingness to pursue education focused towards EHS or engineering disciplines
  • Experience leading safety programs e.g. safety committee leader or safety program leader
