What You’ll Do
- Review, analyze and process purchase requisitions
- Process purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers
- Manage purchase order releases daily to meet demand requirements
- Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner
- Work with the suppliers on a daily basis to assure scheduled deliveries are met
- Understand, maintain weekly reports
- Develop and maintain key supplier relationships with day-to-day interface (peer level) to review open action items, suppliers performance to commitments of on time deliveries, future demand and future cost reductions forecasting
Who We’re Looking For
- Commercial education - e.g. apprenticeship (LAP) or HAK
- Work experience in an industrial environment would be an asset but not a requirement
- Very good MS Office skills
- ERP/SAP skills preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and German
Compensation
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group D or E depending on education.
