Foreign Trade Analyst (all genders)

What You’ll Do
- Implement and execute daily compliance with customs regimes (EU countries, CH, IL, UK) among others, record keeping
- Team with third party service providers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and suppliers as necessary to implement and/or maintain customs compliance and logistics processes in support of operations
- Communicate with customs authorities
- Review, root cause and respond to export/import issues tied to customs data (origin, value, HTS) identified by businesses during internal audits
- Verify Import documentation to ensure that same is accurately prepared and in compliance with LAM Research internal procedures, all relevant Customs/regulatory requirements
- Determine the proper tariff classification for LAM Research products
- Plan, support, report specific type of shipments to worldwide customers
- Work on new national/EU/worldwide regulation and define LAM-internal procedures to guarantee smooth transfer of out-/inbound shipments considering customs compliance
Who We’re Looking For
- Completed apprenticeship in Business-Logistics-Apprenticeship or graduate of HAK/HAS would be preferred
- 2 years of related experience would be preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and German
- Team player with ability to work well cross-functionally
- Ability and willingness to learn (GIS systems, processes)
- Open minded personality
What We're Offering
This position will be occupied in Villach. It is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group D or E, depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
