  • Assist with the execution of the Material Program Managers day-to-day activities, who are accountable for setting up & implementing the Supply Chain Strategy for new products that meet performance, quality & cost requirements.
  • Assist with the identification of new potential suppliers through market research
  • Assist with the execution of material cost reduction activities utilizing levers such as benchmarking, cost driver analysis, functional cost analysis, should costing etc.
  • Communicate with cross-functional team members from various departments (e.g. Engineering, Program Management, Operations)
  • Active participation in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
  • Execute new product’s cost roll-ups, cost tracking & analysis
  • Assist with the transition process from Pilot to High Volume Manufacturing
  • Prepare and analyze complex sets of data and generate reports

We have a pool of potential projects available to choose from. The project scope will be determined together with the candidate based on the business need as well as the candidate’s background, qualification and interest



  • Students pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, (Industrial) Engineering (and Management), Business Informatics or related fields who are interested in project management and supply chain/purchasing
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-driven and pro-active personality focusing on results

  • Innovative & critical thinking mentality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

This position is subject to the AUSTRIAN Collective Bargaining Agreement for internship in the Metal Technology Industries. The minimum salary for the position (m/f) is 1.914,61 EUR / Occupational group A gross per month based on a full-time internship employment.
