What You’ll Do
- Support of the Controls and Automation Team
- Create test specifications for step response tests and perform related data evaluation
- Creation of physical models within Simulink
- Perform simulation studies for customer & program development requests
- Support closed loop control designs to meet e.g. tighter flow or temperature specifications and evaluate its performance
- Present relevant material in project reviews

Who We’re Looking For
University or FH student in one of the following areas:
- Mechatronics
- Electrical engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Physics
- or a related technical field
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in programming language MATLAB & MATLAB/Simulink is mandatory
- Knowledge in a high-level programming language like Python or C#
- Understanding of physical system behaviour and the related system theory
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English
- Technical understanding and good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and focus on detail
Internship details
Desired start: June/July 2025
Internship duration: 8 weeks
Compensation
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry, according to the education level. Minimum gross monthly Salaries for fulltime internship employment are therefore: in occupation group A (with Matura), B (Bachelor Student); C (Master Student)
