Internship: Process Engineering (all genders)

What You’ll Do
We look for a student supporting the development of a novel methodology to predict the impact of process parameters on film etch uniformity to address challenges of wet clean for advanced applications. The tasks include:
- Literature search and market screening of project-relevant wet processes
- On-wafer process performance data collection
- Application of analytical techniques for wafer surface characterization
- Development of a model/script to predict how process tuning knobs impact on-wafer performance
Who We’re Looking For
University Master student in one of the following areas:
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Material Science
- or a related field of study
Preferred Qualifications
- Working experience in wet chemical laboratories
- Basic knowledge of surface analysis techniques
- Good English written and communication skills
- Basic MATLAB or Phyton programming skills
- Able to work with MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Team player, comfortable in a multicultural environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Eye for detail and accuracy
Internship details
- Desired start: June/July 2025
- Internship duration: 10-12 weeks
Compensation
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry, according to the education level. Minimum gross monthly Salaries for fulltime internship employment are therefore: in occupation group A (with Matura), B (Bachelor Student), C (Master Student)
