Job Description

The Financial Analyst is accountable for business controlling of the R&D (Research & Development) as well as the GOPS (Manufacturing) area in relation to forecasting, budgeting and closing activities. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Reporting, analysis, forecasting and closing activities within the following areas: R&D, GOPS, Sales and marketing, Inventory management. Meeting reporting deadlines and assuring high quality standards in line with all relevant standards
•Continuous monitoring of the frequency and content of status reports from project managers. Continuous improvement of the process flow to help achieve more predictable financial results
•Fixed assets/investments: Forecasting and regular tracking of Capital Investments and depreciation
•Headcount: Forecasting and regular tracking of Engineering and Production headcount, monitoring of hiring plan
•Government grants: Administration of all existing Government Grants for R&D projects, ensuring reporting deadlines are met and supporting external audits
•Ad hoc Analysis and Business Partner support in the R&D, GOPS, Sales and marketing, and Inventory management

 

Required Qualification:


•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, preferably with a specialization in Accounting & Controlling (Master’s degree would be a plus)
•Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
•Advanced skills in Excel
•Experience working with SAP R3/FI and CO is a plus
•Previous experience in accounting and controlling preferred
•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to successfully interact with various level of personnel and management
•Strong analytical skills, attention to details
•Dedicated, results oriented and highly ethical individual

Compensation:

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metaltechnology Industries, occupation group F. The minimum annual salary for the position (m/f) is 40.362,42 EUR based on a full-time employment. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
