Employment:  Subcontracted Worker

 

Job Description:

 

SDM is accountable for on time delivery (OTD) of configurable modules, built at remote factories (RFs).

SDMs track progress of RF-builds on a daily basis in order to detect bottle necks as early as possible and start mitigation activities to meet OTD.

 

Specific Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Organize weekly status meetings w. RFs
  • Manage OTD and escalate impacts on OTD (SBM) / MCSD (SPM)
  • Update delivery dates in LPR and OP
  • Assess impact of changes relative to OTD and MCSD.
  • Communicate shortages @ RFs on time, in order to support best possible shortage management @ Lam
  • Single point of contact for Remote Factory regarding content- and scheduling issues for slotted systems visible in CMO.
  • Manage on time provision of quotes and invoices from RFs for forecast calculation- and GR purposes.
  • Supervise and maintain Tool Cost Tracking File.

Required Qualification:

General:

  • Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated cross functional leadership skills with a focus on results.
  • Fact based decision making & excellent problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively to all levels involved
  • Experience in Materials Management and/or Manufacturing Operations
  • Knowledge and/or certification in Project Management
  • Ability to attend status meetings @ late CET / early PT
  • Good knowledge in MS Office

 

Lam Specific:

  • Supply chain- or technical background / Lam product knowledge.
  • Understanding of Product configuration, BOM structures
  • Lam's production process (assembly, test, outsource activities, etc.).
  • Knowledge of common customer configurations and specials.
  • Good grasp of Lam's business processes (Order Fulfillment, Team Track, Production, Materials, & Logistics)

 

Compensation:

This position is subject to the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Association of the Metaltechnology Industries.

Occupation group: F

The minimum salary for the position (m/f) is 2.704,41 EUR gross per month based on a full-time employment.

A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
