VM and Endpoint Management Security Engineer (all genders)

What You’ll Do
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in working with state-of-the-art tools and techniques in the endpoint management arena. As part of the Global Endpoint Management at Lam, he/she will be responsible for driving critical activities and projects to success as well as shaping the future of Lam's endpoint management processes and environment.
He/she is part of a globally acting team, spread across different continents and time zones. This allows us to be close to our end-users and incorporate their feedback in our immediate activities around keeping the systems current and secure, deploying new applications, features, and policies.
In this role, the individual we are looking for is
• actively participating in projects to secure and harden Windows devices,
• executing risk and impact assessment for security measures,
• participating in troubleshooting following security control implementation and VM activities to enable the next level of security and controls at Lam.
Who We’re Looking For
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- 5+ years of experience managing/implementing security measures to harden Windows devices
- Expert-level knowledge and experience in endpoint security, focusing on the following areas:
- Management of Windows 10 / Modern Device Management
- GPO definition, deployment, and management
- Device policies and profiles for Windows 10 devices in MEM/Intune (M365)
- Security Tools (like MDE, Windows Firewall, Beyond Trust, Netskope, etc.)
- Technically sound knowledge and understanding of the following technologies/concepts
- MEM (incl. Co-Management, Auto Pilot, Patch Management)
- MECM current branch (incl. Co-Management)
- Microsoft AD and AAD
- Experience with Endpoint Analytics and OT environments’ security controls
- Hands-on exposure to and experience in remediation activities as part of Vulnerability Management in large enterprises
- Expert-level experience with Windows system hardening activities
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft cloud eco-system (M365, Windows365, VirtualDesktop) and related interfaces
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group E or F depending on education. Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
