About Lam….

This software internship position is located in our development center near Paris, France (Villebon-sur-Yvette). You must be a current legal resident of the EU or have a valid EU visa to apply for this position. The internship is targeted to start on June 1st, 2020 for a 2 months period.

Job Responsibilities
  • Understand the uses and functionality of our MEMS design automation software
  • Run verification test cases for automated and manual test suites
  • Document verification tests for internal and external readers
  • Submit defect reports and enhancement requests
  • Collaborate with software developers to isolate defects and improve the software
Other Job Responsibilities

Do you have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering with a strong interest in simulation and optimization using state-of-the-art software tools? Do you enjoy using analytical methods and simulation software to predict physical behavior? If so, we need your desire and experience to test and improve our software.

You will work closely with our QA engineers and software developers, creating and exercising test cases that verify the accuracy of our simulation results.

Minimum Qualification

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 1 years of coursework towards a Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree
  • Solid understanding of engineering mechanics and dynamics fundamentals
  • Satisfactory English communication skills (verbal and written)


Preferred Qualification

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Scripting skills in MATLAB, Python or similar scripting language
  • Experience with software tools for finite element analysis (FEA)
  • Education and/or experience in MEMS design and analysis
  • Experience with MATLAB Simulink and/or Cadence Virtuoso
