We continue to expand our Semiverse Solutions portfolio from concept to high volume manufacturing to drive the breakthroughs that make so many other world changing innovations possible. What You’ll Do
- Develop semiconductor workforce development in South Korea, working with University/Accademia developing Semiconductor Engineering curriculum supported by Lam Research’s virtual fabrication platform.
- Deploy SEMulator3D® software- which is a Lam semiconductor process modeling platform enabling virtual solutions across multiple University/Accademia partners in the South Korea.
- Become university program’s principal point of contact: manage the deployment process at each site, from initial contact to software adoption.
- Train university professors and teaching assistants on SEMulator3D software usage and modeling methodology.
- Collaborate and work with a global team application engineers (working both with industrial customers and Accademia) to develop new applications and best practices.
- Some domestic travel may be required especially onsite of universities we are collaborating with
Who We’re Looking For
- Masters or PhD in a related field, such as electrical engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, applied physics
- Semiconductor technology, integration, device manufacturing and processing education is required;
- 1~2 years of professional work experience is preferred but not must
- In-depth knowledge of process integration for advanced logic technology (<5nm, nanosheet/nanowire/gate-all-around) or memory (3D NAND, DRAM) is preferred
- Statistical Data analysis skills preferred
- Relevant employment experience in the semiconductor industry (including co-op or internship) is preferred
- Must be willing to get hands-on with software-based modeling; familiarity with EDA tools and software programming is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate and communicate with diverse, cross-functional, and matrixed internal and external partners.
- Fluent English communication skill is required
- This position is a customer-facing role and requires strong communication and presentation skills

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
