Assists with maintaining daily operations of the physical facility. Supports maintenance mechanics and facilities staff by performing “handyman” maintenance duties such as furniture moves, simple electrical and mechanical projects, spot painting and/or cleaning, light construction and/or exterior cleanup. Works with outside contractors on building and equipment repairs. Operates site equipment as needed, using hand and power tools as necessary. May perform other activities such as inter-office mail deliveries, waste paper recycling, and supporting facility coordinator. May maintain documentation such as power diagrams, network diagram, space usage, etc.  May provide support to vendors/contractors such as IFMS, integrated facility management sevices. May assist in hosting corporate visitors/dignitaries.

What You’ll Do

• The Facilities technician will work with facilities engineers to maintain facilities infrastructure and equipment to make sure a safety of the facilities
• Provide support for facilities maintenance activities of buildings and equipment. 
• The coordinator will interface with and support all Lam business units as needed to resolve safety issues related to facilities.
• Requires ability to analyze and evaluate complex and ambiguous problems with focus on speed to solutions.
• Responsible for identifying building and site issues and driving them to closure.
• Work with onsite Engineering and Operations staff to support all aspects of Research and Development Cleanroom and Lab Operations
• Assisting as required with all aspects of Global Workplace Solutions

Who We’re Looking For

• College graduate with associate's degree related in engineering or less than 1 year experienced related to this position  
• Strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to successfully interact with internal customers and stakeholders
• People who are available swing(night) shift 

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Excel
• Strong understanding and experiences of CAD

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
