The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

HRSS (HR Shared Services) manages the day-to-day operations of human resource offices. HRSS manages the business operations of human resource policies, procedures, system/tool and programs. The HRSS Specialist manager fulfills responsibilities in the following areas of functionality: Recruitment, Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Employee Relations, Training and Development, Benefits, Rewards, Organizational Development and Employment.

The HRSS originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. 
 Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure completion of HR processes. Partner the HRSS Director to re-engineer existing processes to streamline and develop changed processes to obtain optimal operational efficiency. A key focus of the incumbent is to deliver consistent results through strong customer focus and a commitment to service delivery excellence.
 Your contributions will support compensation, benefits, performance management, learning development and personnel policies. Your breadth in HR processes and commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace will help shape Lam's vibrant and diverse culture.

What You’ll Do

HRSS is segmented into three key operation areas: Total Reward (TR), Talent Development (TD), and Talent Acquisition (TA). To enhance efficiency and strengthen our operations, we are implementing a job rotation strategy. This recruitment drive focuses on hiring a specialist for the Talent Development (TD) team.

 

-Talent Development (TD) Operation

1) Assist with leading the development training in conjunction with GLOD team, vendor and COE manager. The role involves enhancing the quality of education programs by managing data related to educational assessments and preparing comprehensive reports. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various educational assessments.
  • Developing detailed reports to inform and improve educational programs.
  • Collaborating with educators and administrators to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of educational initiatives and suggesting improvements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases for ongoing assessment

2) Collaborate with the HRIS team to develop and implement a system that enables employees to efficiently utilize the training platform. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with HRIS specialists to design and optimize the training system.
  • Ensuring the system is user-friendly and accessible for all employees.
  • Providing support and training to employees on how to effectively use the system.
  • Monitoring system performance and making necessary adjustments to improve functionality.
  • Gathering feedback from users to continuously enhance the training experience.

Talent Acquisition (TA) HRSS focuses on aspects related to the employee life cycle, such as onboarding and offboarding, while Total Reward(TR) HRSS primarily manages support for Benefit and Compensation. However, it has the same R&R, including quick response to employee inquiries, data management, efficient system development and system management.

 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
    • Possess leadership qualities and passion for HR
    • Experienced in planning, organizing, supporting and facilitating a broad range of company programs and activities
    • Experience working in a multi-cultural, geographically dispersed environment

Preferred Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite which includes MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Working knowledge of SuccessFactors will be an advantage

Good command of spoken and written English

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
